Q. What payment methods does PowerJeweller accept?

A. For deliveries within the UK you can make your payment to us electronically by credit card / debit card, Paypal and Google Checkout. Alternatively you can make paper payments to us by cheque or by postal order.

For deliveries outside of the UK you can make your payment to us by credit card / debit card, Paypal and Google Checkout.

Q. How do I add items to my shopping bag?

A. Find a product that you like and click the "add to shopping bag" button.

Your product is now stored in your shopping back. Then, you can click the "continue shopping" button to put more items in your shopping bag or, if you have finished shopping, you can click the "checkout" button and pay for your purchase(s).

Q. Can you assist me with the checkout procedure?

(i) First Time Customers

Once you have all your items in your shopping bag, please select a delivery method from the drop-down menu and click the "checkout" button.

If you are a first-time customer, you will be taken through to the next screen where you will be asked you to enter your billing information. Fields annotated with an asterix are mandatory. Fill out the fields, tick the box to show that you have read & agree to our terms of service, then hit the "send registration" button.

When the next page loads you will have the option of entering a shipping address. You only need to fill this out if your shipping address is different to your billing address.

Click "next" then choose your shipping method. Click "next" once more and enter your payment information. Once your payment information is submitted and verified your order will be good to go.

(ii) Returning Customers

If you are a returning customer, then welcome back. Just login at the customer login panel and you're ready to go. Put some items in your shopping basked and click "checkout".

Your billing information is saved so - unless it's changed in since your last visit - you won't need to bother with this step again. (If your billing information has changed, simply click the "update address" link).

Click "next" then choose your shipping method. Click "next" once more and enter your payment information. Once your payment information is submitted and verified your order will be good to go.

Q. What are PowerJeweller's P&P charges?

A. Please see our delivery page for postage costs.

Q. When will my order be dispatched?

A. Usually we will dispatch stock between one to five working days of your payment.

Q. How long will my order take to arrive? (I am based in the UK)

A. Delivery times are the responsibility of the mail courier. Our courier (Royal Mail or DHL) estimate about 2-4 working days for domestic delivery. Kindly note there may be exceptions and seasonal variations to this rule (e.g., at Christmas time).

Q. How long will my order take to arrive? (I am based outside of the UK)

A. Delivery times are the responsibility of the mail couriers. Royal Mail, DHL or TNT will be responsible for handing over your delivery to the postal service in your country. They will take around 2-4 working days to do this. Once the item is in your country's territory, the delivery time will be dependent on the performance of your country's mail service.

Q. The item I want is out of stock, can you inform me when it will be back in stock?

A. Yes, certainly. Please contact us with the item number of the product you want. Once it is back in stock we will inform you immediately.

Q. Is it possible to have jewellery orders custom made?

A. Yes. Please contact us to discuss having an order custom made for you.

Q. What is Tibetan Silver? How is it different from 925 silver?

A. Tibetan silver is a type of silver that is popular in Tibetan culture. It is made from approximately 20% silver and 80% copper and doesn't require a hallmark. On the other hand, 925 silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper (or nickel) and, because it has a very high silver content, requires a hallmark.
